THREE NEWCASTLE PLAYERS BACK FOR MATCH

Three important Newcastle United players will return to the squad ahead of the Premier League trip to the bottom club Sheffield United on Tuesday evening in what’s a matchday 18 clash in the English top flight. The Newcastle United trio of Jonjo Shelvey, Callum Wilson and Fabian Schar missed the third round defeat to holders Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday night but they are all set to return for the league game with the Blades.

Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce made a lot of changes to his team for the Arsenal game at the weekend and all the key players who missed that FA Cup third round tie are set to return for the crucial game with the Blades. Argentine defender Federico Fernandez and goalkeeper Karl Darlow are also expected to join Callum Wilson, Fabian Schar and JonjoShelvey in returning to the Magpies’ squad for the upcoming match with the Blades.

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce is under a lot of pressure ahead of the Sheffield United match on Tuesday after the recent poor run of results. The Mapgies are winless in their last seven games in all competitions since the 2-1 home win over West Brom in the Premier League one month ago. Newcastle United have not won any of their last five games in the league. A bad result against winless Sheffield United will set the tongues wagging once again with fans already losing faith in the current managerial regime under boyhood Newcastle United fan Steve Bruce. Opponents Sheffield United have had a poor start to the season after 17 games in the league this term. The Blades have set a new unwanted record for the winless start to a Premier League season after failing to win any of their first 17 league outings of this season.
